YouthActionNet®

Today’s young social entrepreneurs are a powerful – and growing – force for positive change in the world; yet they often need networks, skills, and resources to maximize their contributions. We believe that young social entrepreneurs have four major needs: 1) skills and knowledge to implement sustainable projects, 2) supportive networks and professional mentors, 3) opportunities for peer learning, and 4) funding.

To meet these needs, YouthActionNet® supports youth leadership development through its global and national Fellowship programs throughout the world.

National FellowshipsYouthActionNet® National Institutes are currently operating in Brazil and Mexico, with future Institutes planned for Australia, Chile, Egypt, Haiti, Israel, and Spain by 2009. Learn more!

Global Fellowships – YouthActionNet®’s Global Fellowship Program targets exceptional young social entrepreneurs anywhere in the world who have developed innovative approaches to addressing issues of international relevance. Learn More!

Global Fellow Testimonials

“This was the first retreat for me that brought together young social entrepreneurs
from all over the world to learn from one another how to better manage their organizations. It was truly a unique experience, and above all,
showed me that I wasn’t alone in this work.”

“It was touching, amazing and life changing.”

“Other programs focus on 'hard skills'… while the YouthActionNet retreat  balanced skills training with self-reflection.”

“This retreat is one of the few venues that young social entrepreneurs
have to talk with each other and exchange ideas. The chances we had to talk with other fellows about their work and discuss challenges
and offer each other advice, was most valuable for me.”
