Director of Programa Jóvenes Emprendedores Sociales
Andrés Pina is the Director of Premios Jóvenes Emprendedores Sociales, YouthActionNet’s institute in Spain, at Universidad Europea. Andrés is passionate about multiple social causes, and holds a deep conviction that activism, empowerment, and civic participation can be powerful tools for addressing inequality and assuring a better, more sustainable future for all. Andrés has a Bachelors in Audiovisual Communications from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Masters in Strategic, Corporate and Institutional Public Relations, and an International Executive MBA in Business Administration. His professional career has focused on corporate communications and public relations, including a wide range of experiences in diverse institutions, companies, and NGOs. He joined Universidad Europea in 2010 as a communications manager overseeing press outreach, institutional outreach, and strategic communications planning for Laureate International Universities in Spain. In this time he has also served as a member of the selection committee for the Premios Jóvenes Emprendedores Sociales, has managed its program communications, and led event planning for its awards ceremony. Andrés is additionally a professor in areas of Corporate Brand Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at the CESMA Business School.
