Femi Taiwo

LEAP Africa

Femi is on a personal mission of facilitating the transformation of individuals, organisations and nations. He currently serves as the Executive Director of LEAP Africa- Nigeria’s foremost non-profit organisation focused on youth leadership development. In this role he oversees the administration, fund-raising, strategy implementation and programme delivery of the organisation. Prior to this position at LEAP, Femi was the founding Executive Director of Eagles HOPE Foundation, a non-profit initiated under the Covenant University Alumni Association, where he led the organisation to create and execute award-winning youth programmes that reached over 12,000 youth in major cities in Nigeria over a five-year period. In these roles, Femi has facilitated several consulting and training interventions across Africa and in the United Kingdom. As part of his career journey, Femi worked in GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, and spent a year at a market research consultancy in the United Kingdom.

Femi advises several youth-led social enterprises and speaks internationally on themes relating to youth mobility, social entrepreneurship, education and leadership development. He is extremely passionate about leadership and enterprise development, youth development and youth-led development. He holds an MSc degree in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship from Manchester Business School, where he focused his research on Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. 

She’s a certified project management professional with experience in coordinating nationwide projects and leading dynamic multicultural teams. Chiamaka has volunteered in various capacities in line with her major causes of interest - youth employability, education, business startup advisory and enterprise development. She is also passionate about social impact assessment of development/national policies. 

Chiamaka is a member of the Project Management Institute International. Her career aspirations are to stir African youth to creatively seek solutions to social challenges and to help build sustainable businesses.
