Lisa Jones

Manager, YouthActionNet
International Youth Foundation

A recipient of the Sophie Kerr Award—the nation’s largest undergraduate literary prize, Lisa is a nonfiction writer who is determined to bring awareness and credibility to youth leading change around the world. Through the YouthActionNet Blog, newsletters and social media, Lisa works to take the stories of successful social entrepreneurs out of the field and into the hands of key stakeholders and aspiring entrepreneurs alike. A graduate of Washington College with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology, Lisa has worked in both local government and university contexts, where she developed skills in organization, event planning, and strategic communication. Lisa uses these skills daily as she works to organize the annual Laureate Global Fellowship events and engage the global community of YouthActionNet alumni virtually long after their fellowship year.
