Association of Social Entrepreneurs
Nargiza Erkebekova is an Executive Director at Association of Social Entrepreneurs. Originally born and raised in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Nargiza graduated from American University of Central Asia with Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Economics. She is a fellow of two U.S. Department of State exchange programs –Future Leaders Exchange and Global UGrad. Nargiza spent one academic year in St.Cloud, Florida and later, she studied at State University of New York-Plattsburgh. After her extensive exchange experience Nargiza chose a path of social entrepreneurship where she is engaged in work with beneficiaries and detecting Kyrgyzstan’s regions problems and enabling the solutions for economic development though social entrepreneurship. Currently, she runs together with a team Association of social entrepreneurs of Kyrgyzstan, which is in the process of widening a range of training services to NGO’s, private companies and projects in social entrepreneurship, with a further advocacy to protect the rights of social entrepreneurship on a governmental level.
