OMOTAYO Oufemi founded YSN (EntrepreNEWS/Young Startup Network) in 2012 using media as a tool to raise a new generation of young entrepreneurs. EntrepreNEWS is a journal and online platform building strong business network, providing information and resources for upcoming startup entrepreneurs in Nigeria. Beyond access to information. YSN organizes workshops to address early stage challenges most young entrepreneurs face and proffer solutions to increase their business longetivity. Olufemi holds an M. PROJECT: EntrepreNEWS

Olufemi Omotayo is a multiple award-winning social innovator, journalist and blogger with expertise in technology and entrepreneurship writing. He is the founder and managing editor of EntrepreNEWS, Nigeria’s foremost entrepreneurship publication/online medium. He is a seasoned speaker, mentor, facilitator and coordinator for many youth initiatives in Nigeria. He is the director of Young Startup Network (YSN) and a member of the HDPC Youth Sub-committee of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG). He regularly volunteers speaking, writing and social media for several youth based empowerment organizations in Nigeria. In 2013, he coordinated facilitation for the US Consulate’s sponsored initiative in Lagos public secondary schools. Olufemi is a trained investigative reporter and business writer, named Nigeria’s “SME Journalist of the Year” in 2013; the Entrepreneurship Writer/Blogger of the Year in 2014 and Outstanding Fellow, Social Innovation Programme (SIP) in 2015.
