Te Protejo is a nonprofit organization founded by Camila Cortínez to combat a lack of information in Latin American markets about the testing of cosmetics on animals during product development. Currently working in Chile and Peru, what started as an informational web portal has now grown into a certifying organization that recognizes and gives its stamp of approval to cruelty-free cosmetics. Te Protejo is also the organizer of the Ecobelleza Fair, which empowers consumers to make ethical purchases, promotes responsible consumption, and raises awareness of cruelty-free products and brands.
