CPlantae is a organization led by entrepreneurial youth who develop disruptive, sustainable technology to address challenges in agriculture, bioenergy, water, and the environment. Cplantae developed the Atla technology to install artificial wet zones at a low cost, which help to filter and reuse waste-water for agricultural, industrial and domestic usage. Cplantae also works on environmental education through talks, trainings and expositions, working with students, businessmen, farmers, and the general public. Their impact has been focused on the valley of Tlaxcala-Puebla, which has one of the most contaminated river basins in the country.
